The Great

Set decorated the first series of ‘The Great’, a satire about Catherine the Great, shot at 3 Mills Studio in east London over four sound stages. An 18th century palace set c.1760 or thereabouts. The prep period was 12 weeks, the requirement being all sets to be finished on start of filming. Also requested to purchase as much as possible as further series were to be commissioned. Sourced furniture, textiles, and accessories from the UK, France and Belgium. Oversaw a set dec paint and prop workshop, and a upholstery and drapery team. For Hulu and Channel 4.
